Reach Society Network Conversation
The next Reach Society network conversation will take place on Friday 26th Feb at 6:30pm-8:30pm via zoom, in which we will be discussing ‘Covid-19 vaccine and the Black Community: Exploring the current viewpoints’. Various issues have occurred around this subject matter which we would like to discuss in greater depth; from vaccine hesitancy, lack of trust to misinformation.
To discuss this and more we will hear from Patrick Vernon OBE (Social Commentator/campaigner & Historian), Dr Winston Morgan (Toxicologist/Social justice campaigner), Dr Joan St John (GP/Diabetes Champion), Pastor Alton Bell (Faith Leader/Community activists), Angela Clarke (Manager: Adult Health and Social Care/Chair BACP Healthcare Division) and Terence Channer (Lawyer, Human rights against police/health diligence) Additionally, other individuals and community groups will also be contributing to this debate.
